So the Commy Bastards at Buffalo Trace have stopped production on Charter 10!

First they rip the handles off the handles and now they have pulled the plug on 10 Year Old Charter. Granted I am a Charter 8 man, but I do/did splurge on occasion and poney up for "the good shite". This is horrible news. I have no link to offer. All I have to go on is social media murmurings and THIS. That link is to the Buffalo Trace site that used to show its (3) Old Charter products: Charter 8, Charter 10, and Charter 101. Now there are only 2 products available

I'm thinking this is some commy plot. Maybe some dying effort by Hugo Chavis to send the NELA farming community into a tail spin and cause a world wide shortage of cotton and grain. Who knows? Alls I know is it's terrible. I have sent an email to headquarters, but have yet to get a response. Lets keep our collective fingers crossed that this is all a vicious rumor. If proven to be accurate I'll coordinate the first of what I'm sure to be a series of candlelight vigils.

This is terrible news. As I finished off the last of my Makers last night, I decided that I was done with buying that expensive shite and was getting back to my roots and OC 10.

I need a new whiskey. I had a drink of OC 8 last night after I polished off my MM and it just sucks. My FiL drinks that swill and keeps a fifth at my house.
