Does anyone have a recipe for smothered carrots? but I don’t want them glazed.

Cut carrots into rounds. Place in a pot with a little water, butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook covered on medium heat until tender. Cook until tender and sauce is reduced.

I haven’t done it before, but I’d just smother them the same way I smother anything else. Bacon, onions, garlic, etc.

I’ve copied a Whole Foods hot bar dish that has ground beef, carrots, and radishes (optional, but really good), and some Dijon mustard, which adds a great flavor.

This is close to what I do, but I add a little onion, and I don’t use Worcestershire sauce.
