How do you cook a prime rib? Smoked, grilled, baked? Some combination thereof? How do you serve it?

I've had it both smoked and roasted in the oven. Never been mad at it either way. I just got a new pellet grill and I have a Prime Rib in the freezer, I'll probably cook it kn the pellet grill.

Reverse sear in the oven.
Smoked works as well.

I cook mine in my smoker without smoke. Best I’ve ever had!

I like a little smoke. But not smoking the entire cook. But as said above, I ain't turning it down if its hard smoked or simply roasted.

I prefer roasted, but one year we did a small one on my dad’s “Joe-tisserie” on his Kamado Joe and it was excellent. I realize that isn’t technically “smoked”, but just wanted to throw it out there.

Oven. It doesn't need smoke imo. And I'm too lazy to fire up a smoker for something that's going to be great baked
