I often get the Sliders from WalkOns, don’t know if they are the same. But those I enjoy.
I order them every time I go as well. They didn't used to be the same, but they have changed them over time and they definitely resemble Smalls more now. They used to use regular slider buns, and now they're shiny and brioche-like similar to Smalls.
That said, the websites list different nutritional information for Walkons vs. Smalls. 927 for 3 Smalls, 760 for 3 Walkons. So who knows. Maybe Walkons doesn't go insane with the butter like Smalls does.

the original location of Smalls is in BTR - but they are now headquartered out of Atlanta ( go figure)

I had them yesterday in Mobile, Al. They are consistent at all the places.
I see Mrs. V every now and then.

Stopped in while out shopping one afternoon. Budget was tight, and did not want to waste money on mall food. Really enjoyed the outdoor, orange shipping container vibe. Food hit just right. The level of greasiness was perfect, good burger flavor, excellent fries. Definitely needed to wash hands afterward. (Mom used to stop at Royal Castle when we were kids. She’d get three of the burgers; each kid got one. Smalls brought back happy memories of days long gone.)

It’s a Ponzi Scheme. They are not doing well at least the single unit operators I speak to. One in Slidell never has anyone in line.
