NOFOX,

That has crossed my mind as well--just not sure how to procure.

Thanks so much,

Found Basil Hayden's at the ABC. My friend loves it. Made him a few boozy vanilla milkshakes with good ice cream yesterday after we got back from the oncologist and a pureed baked sweet potato, heavy cream and bourbon smoothie this morning. Thanks you guys.

If the 80 proof becomes too boozy for him, there are some option of pre-mixed "bourbon cream" drinks that you might call some stores and ask about. Should be able to mix them into ice cream as well.

Was going to post this, and finding it should be no issue.

I will definitely pass them along, thank you. This Board has been feeding him (literally) since Saturday--and he's so appreciative. So am I. Great cooks on this Board

Damn, 39 and terminal cancer. So sorry to hear this.

Really makes me realize how fortunate myself and family are to have never had to deal with something like this.

God bless you and your bud.

I'm going to have to look for this... Ezra Brooks is my go-to cheaper mixing whiskey. This would probably be awesome in some adult milkshakes.

Thanks--I mean, he was fine and then he wasn't--just in a matter of weeks. Really appreciate the good wishes--he's a good man.
