Slow smoking on a propane grill all night

InB4: LOL YOU'RE USING A PROPANE GRILL TO SMOKE?!?
Yes, I have smoker tubes and it turns out excellent. I ask this because I'm having a get together at my house Saturday around lunch and would like to smoke a pork shoulder. Any big risk in lighting my bigger smoke tube, setting my propane grill to 250 and going to sleep? It'll be on concrete 5-6 feet from my house. TIA

I have smoked plenty overnight. I do end up getting up and checking on it tho

Tou wont have any issues. I would try to move it further frim the house just in case, and if you have it under a cover I would put a fan to blow the smoke out. Otherwise, enjoy them smoke tubes, I use mine often.

Nope it should be out in the open. The more I think I think my biggest concern might be racoons who have at times gotten into the drip pan. given itll be hot I worry more about them trying to approach and hitting my knobs then getting to the meat....also I plan to have the flood light on and talk radio on my speakers which I feel should ward them away.

I have my grill hooked up to natural gas. Been turning out some amazing stuff with a smoker tube and just a water pan.
I wouldn't hesitate to pull an all nighter. My grill is on a pole cemented in the ground, not going anywhere.

Stupid for people to laugh at this. In the past I've smoked packer brisket on my genesis and they turned out great. Just set a box directly on top on one burner and full it with chips and large chunks.
To answer, I would pull it away from the house and turn it so the back where the heat and smoke exhausts faces away. Flood light is a good idea.
