On a somewhat similar note, I have a friend who is too much of a fig to actually post on TD and he wanted me to pose the question as to why the big chicken places don't sell nuggets. He is especially interested in KFC. He is a huge fan of the nugget and can't figure out why he can only get them at the burger joints.

Just find some old coupons and use those - I used one the other day and they couldn't find it on their chart - ended up with 3 spicy wings, fries and a med coke for $3.47 with tax - can't beat that!

Plus, I like how all Church's have the Walk-Up window.

KFC = a mix of both.

and the taste is inversely related to the size in this case.

I find Popeye's dirt cheap, but i just ask for the ghetto dark meat special, spicy. No sides, drinks, or biscuits.

Popeye prices in NOLA are vastly different than in BR.. The Pieces are bigger in NOLA too. Whomever ownes the locations in BR is running it into the ground. The pieces are tiny and the prices are on avg I would say 1-2 dollars higher per combo than in NOLA.

that sucks, b.c i love me some Popeye's. Even when i was in BR i found it be cheap. Is it just the combos that are jacked up? I never get them b/c i don't want a drink, side or a biscuit....would always just get a dark or mixed box of spicy chicken.

Mostly the combos. A 3 piece combo here is around 8.50 after taxes. Then if you get rice in anything they charge an extra .25 cents

Their baked chicken is also good. Buffet loaded with some really fresh veggies, several kinds of meat-plan on pigging out. Used to be Swabs a thousand years ago if you have been around BR for awhile.
