So many good things already listed. I'll add:
Scrambled egg sandwich
Egg in the nest
BLT and a beer
round steak in gravy with mashed potatoes and frozen green peas.
My Mom's shrimp gumbo or her fried chicken or meatloaf.
The way my dad cooked a steak.
The wife's thousand island dressing on a wedge of iceberg.
French Onion Soup with Cabernet.
Home made buttermilk biscuits with breakfast (thin) pork chops and fried over easy eggs.
The wife's chicken salad on her wheat berry bread.
Boiled brown gulf shrimp
Lobster chowder.
Creamed Spinach
Purple Hull Peas w/cornbread
Butter Beans w/cornbread
Any kind of porkchop cooked any way.
Mama Bear Soup with depression era cornbread
Wife's Lasagna
And lots of other stuff, most of which was already listed by you other guys.
And I want to eat at Mr. Ball's hunting camp (the one with the long smokey pit) one time before I die. Menu of his choice.

I'm simple I love a good single ingredient food transformation.
Cooked tomatoes become amazing to me. Same with caramelized onions.

When your roux is the way you want it, and you add the trinity. The first few seconds as you stir the veggies into the roux is blissful
