TIA.

Would like some expert opinion from FDB people before I drop the coin. What say Ye ?

Is this a solid buy? ~$475

Caraway Cookware & Minis Set

I’d never heard of the brand, but based on this review, I wouldn’t get them. Please note, the review does not trash them. They seem to have a number of good qualities, but the cons listed are enough to deter me.

Good Housekeeping review.

Get some stuff from made in. I have several pieces from them and they're great.

Made in China.

Get All-Clad (not their non-stick), Made In, or USA Pan.

Does your wife like to cook? Are the meals she prepares one pot meals, or two and three pot/ skillet meals? Does she cook in pans for breakfast and dinner? Does she want pans she can toss in the dishwasher or hand wash?

Provide more info and I'd this board will be happy to make suggestions.

Thanks everyone, this set is off the list. Going to do more research into the other brands mentioned, and I do like the idea of buying American made.

I think this is apples and oranges. A La Creuset should last decades. I don't think this will do that.
