Pretty iffy use of the term melt.

I don't see what the problem with that is other than you guys just can't resist my posts.

Or perhaps you post the way you do because you like the attention because you're a fat virgin pretending to be some alpha on the internet.

Far be it from me to not give you want you want.

This isn’t the poliboard. Not everything is a melt.

Your whole shtick is that you’re this Uber healthy guy and everyone else on the board is fat as shite. This thread is clearly no exception.

I do eat very healthy. Sorry my diet isn't like the rest of the board, I guess that disqualifies my opinion.

Only on the OT. I have my legit opinion on Shake Shack and you guys lost your damn minds.

Which is their burger is very goo, but the limited menu deters me from going there.

No one is forcing you to eat a side, why don't you just eat the burger with no side?

I mean, I am somewhat intrigued as to why a place at the virtual same price point with a slightly inferior product and less options would hurt Atomic Burger

Especially since Atomic is local

ETA: Being local might actually hurt it being in Metairie

If I go there, that's what I do, but in-an-out I can go get two protein style burgers which is a better alternative to me. It's just not worth it for me to go there to get a burger with nothing else when there are better alternatives, in my opinion

I’ll still be here. Potluck dinner for the KOC though. I’m sure it will be unhealthy.

I was gonna go there. Metairieites will gobble up a Shake Shack on Vets right there. There is no real loyalty to local. Like when Krispy Kreme opened across from Tastee on clearview. People were bursting with anticipation for KK

Shake Shacks numbers and what they’re doing is public info. Not many in that sector can boast the growth they’re displaying. The name carries weight and they’re are still people in metairie that don’t know what an atomic is but could tell you what a shake shack is. Can’t underestimate the branding of a national franchise

Shake shack is actually pretty good, but theres just no healthy options.

Maybe don't go to a fast food place looking for "healthy options".

There's healthy options at nearly every fast food place, and while I eat it very rarely, sometimes it's convenient.

Comparing Atomic to Shake Shack is silly. I’d never heard of Atomic before it came to Metairie.....whereas Shake Shack’s Danny Meyer is a towering figure in US dining.

Re: supporting Shake Shack over Company Burger or other locals, I might choose Co over Shake Shack in the same neighborhood. But in Fat City, I’d pick Shake Shack over Five Guys every time.

Food rating of who you just listed

1. Company
2. Atomic
3. Shake shack
4. 5 guys

Also, you never heard of atomic “before it came to Metairie” because it started in Metairie

Thts the only location.

This is a silly point. Atomic Burger was started by local guys. It didn't "come to Metairie," although I think they had (have?) some notion of franchising.

Shake Shack is okay for what it is, but the fact that it was started by a "towering figure in US dining" is not something I see as suddenly making it a place I should be blown away by. It serves a decent basic hamburger and the equivalent of ore ida crinkle cut fries. Wooo Weee!!
