Haven't ever been to Fernando's. I need to try it....We're hooked on that white cheese queso at Las Palmas.

I also need to add Coffee Bean & Oriental Pearl to the list of successful Coursey restaurants...Too early to tell for Portico, but you and others have talked good about it.

They have two types of tacos at Fernandos one is a fluffy crispy taco that is really good. Thats pretty much all I go there for.

I go maybe once every couple months. I just like the open air setup and patio especially during cooler months, but the ritas are good and the beer is cheap during HH. I honestly haven't had much of the menu so can't really comment on the food. We are usually just HH chips/salsa and alcohol.

Portico

Been twice. Busy both times. Honestly don't think I'll be back. Food was meh. Service was fine.

I love good tacos and hot tamales..That's all I normally order at the Mexican places besides queso.

What's special about Fernando's tacos?

Like I said earlier, I haven't been back after getting BAD, and I mean BAD queso there. Somebody tell me what's good on the menu and I may give them another shot.

you know, i can almost see Portico evolving into a Zee Zee Gardens over here .. where people go there to drink and socialize, and you eventually forget it is actually a restaurant too ..
