Used to get food delivered when I was little, I don't remember what all we got. Strawberry swirl ice cream cups, orange push pops, chicken nuggets, but I don't know the rest.

Looking at it now, and not sure why we ever ordered. It seems expensive. Are there some good deals here that I just haven't seen yet?
Anyone have any favorite Schwan items worth trying? They just e-mailed me a 30% off coupon so I wouldn't mind trying a few things.

Seems expensive as frick though. $19.99 for just over a pound of coconut shrimp? Can't you get a bag of it at the store for like $10?

I get that the "delivery" aspect might be valuable to some people, but is isn't like I'm not going to have to still go to the grocery store to get tea, milk, etc.,

We used to get it growing up. That said, we lived in a very small town with a limited grocery offering. Now, the selection at groceries is much more deep. I thought the company went totally under? Maybe that was just in our area.

I do still miss the butter brickle ice cream. The chicken tenders were a mainstay for life as a child.

We got that when I was a teenager. The ice cream was pretty good. And they had these little frozen pizzas that I ate for lunch practically every day during the summer.

I still see the trucks here and there. But I swear, Schwann's is always at the top of the food recall list!

I worked for them during my college years.. You are paying for the service & convenience.

I know they pulled out of Louisiana all together in 2011, not sure if its even possible to get the stuff in Louisiana anymore.

It says they do mail order.
With 30% off, I might order some breakfast stuff. French toast sticks look good for those lazy mornings.

I think it's been dead for a while in BR. Used to dog on nuggets and such after a long morning at the pool.
