First time ever tried growing these here in Orlando.....widely recognized as the best for making gravy.....canned one's from Italy are wonderful.....can't wait to get a nice harvest & try with fresh ones.

Yep. Grew some last year. Put off a ton. Only planted one this year. I think I just saw it float down the driveway

I've got some too and you are right balls. I think I need to put an umbrella over each one. This rain is killing me.

Definitely feel for all of you getting killed by the rain.....
I've got 6 tomato plants with 75 fruit on them right now.....probably all going to get ripe when I'm out of town for a week starting June 7th.
Eggplants & cukes are going nuts as well..we haven't started our daily rain season yet....then all goes to hell in a handbasket
