I don't eat oysters and I love Drago's. Their soft shell crab dish is excellent as is any number of their other dishes.
Tigergrl, it wasn't a trick/trap question...it was just a question of why. Good enough reason but have you tried it more than once and consistently gotten bad service or just the once? I usually give the place a second chance, esepecially if the food is good.

Drago's is my choice. I simply don't understand the attraction of the Central Grocery muff. I would rather a cheezeburger, or something else. But, I really don't think they even offer anything else.

No, just once, and I know I should probably give it another try, but I'm one of those people that doesn't forgive easily.

Can you blame them...its a great bite of food.
They have good gumbo, oyster brochette and what I think are the best restaurant red beans and rice.

but that's not the point. The point was they are largely known for one thing, just like CG.
I have probably eaten there about 5-6 times and i honestly can't remember a single entree i ordered. The last time i just ended up getting more oysters for my entree b/c nothing has never made am impression.

Drago's. I'm bias though. Central is right around the corner from my condo and I've eaten there alot and think the quality has gone down
