14" pizza? Since it only comes in one size. Pretty disappointing that they don't offer other sizing options for people who eat by themselves or don't need that big of a pizza.
Menu looks lackluster and overpriced.

They are all 16 inch. I like leftover pizza and don't like small slices, so 16 is what I like.

Pic of the pizza looks good. Worth a try. I”m not staying away due to a simple menu. I prefer them simple.

Brought my wife there last night after reading this thread. We ended up not eating there and went to the Sushi place.
The place looks Like they just put up a new sign and opened the doors. No attempt to freshen up the paint or decorate at all, looked run down. My wife went to the bath room and she said it wasn’t clean. Only one other family was there waiting for a pizza.
They better have great pizza or they won’t be open long.

I agree best pizza in the area. The guy really cares about the quality. I was watching him make it and he barely takes his eyes off your pizza during the cooking process. Then when he take it out instead of it going straight to the cutting board it is put on a wire rack to cool. This allows for air flow underneath and keeps the bottom from getting soggy and allows the pizza to really crisp up

Went there for lunch yesterday. Definitely the best pizza in the greater BR area. I really enjoyed it.

I didn't like Pizza Place in Watson. The crust of their pizza tasted like one of those crusts you can buy ready made. I would rather get a thin crust pizza at Pizza Hut rather than getting a pizza at Pizza Place. I just found Pizza Place to be average. I also tried one of their po boys. I wasn't a fan of the poboy. I don't like mustard on a roast beef poboy. I'm glad that you like Pizza Place because people have different tastes.

I’ve seen like 3 different names for this place, went in mid to late October. It was a notch above Rotolo’s, which I don’t consider to be bad pizza. I’ll swing in and grab a pizza when I go to Sam’s instead of getting a greasy Sam’s slice.

Tried Retro for the first time tonight. This place is awful. Cheese tastes like plastic and the crust is rubbery. There was one young lady in the restaurant by herself trying to do everything. Maybe the owner makes a better pizza but he sure isn’t setting it up for success by not being there. I’ll be surprised if this place makes it open a year.

You made the right choice. Definitely won’t be open long.

That is so disappointing. I went a few weeks back and some kid was making my pizza and screwed it up so I had to wait for another one. That one came out pretty good, but not near as good as what I had in previous trips when a middle aged guy made my pizza.
Will have to find out the middle aged guys schedule. And I agree, they need to have better quality control on who is making the pizzas.

I haven't been to Retro, but I'd never pull against any small business. We'll give them a shot.
But I'd be remiss to discuss Pizza in Livingston parish and not mention Diversion Pizza. Damn good pizza and best bourbon selection in da parish. My fav is the supreme on cauliflower crust, right after you have their Diversion Wedge salad. Pretty good craft beer variety too. Now the bartender there, thats a whole different story.
Good luck and yall have a good weekend!

Their young employees are worthless. They seem like they are all there to hangout. The pizza is good though.
