these should be places you eat often (and thus have many opportunities to disappoint you) and you also have reasonable expectations of

mopho
Borgne (happy hour)
la carretta in hammond (outside on the patio)
jays BBQ
company burger
Tommy’s pizza
guys poboys

Taco Bell. When you expectations are in the dirt, you can never be disappointed.

Hi-Ho's in Hammond

In regards to Hammond, I don't care for the new Tommy's, when I was in college at SLU I practically lived off of the old Tommy's, good stuff. The old Trey Yuen was hard to beat as well, I hated to see them decline.

Bacchanal
Delachaise
Domenica
Pizza Delicious
Cowbell
High Hat
Lily’s Cafe
Bread and Circus
Cajun Claws

I’ve been to all of these 10+ times, and I haven’t been disappointed.

no question, that Trey Yuen in it's prime was one of the top Chineese resturants in the SE US. HiHO while it's a different type BBQ is steady as hell.

I haven’t frequented those 3 as much as the ones that I listed, but I’ve had good meals at those places as well.

I went there a few years ago and didn't see what was special about it to be honest.
