Completely agree with Ruth’s Chris. It’s a decent steak and all but absolutely nothing to freak out over.

I think the only people that hype this place are stuck in 1999 or read the Gambit list for best burger.

Not really, but it's not a great fine dining place that several people I know make it out to be though. I swear some of them celebrate every big special occasion they do one or two times a year by going there.

Yeah, my last 3 visits couldn't have played a part.

Used to go all the time, along with Snug Harbor. The burger bar has been raised.

I’d say Saki Cafe. Wife loves to go in there with the happy hour. I think the sushi is uninspiring.

Yeah I get it, and I like Burgersmith in BR, Port O Call is where you go to drink and get something to eat

ETA: Jack Dempsey has the best baked macaroni in the city!

A lot better places for both, but it does have some sort of nostalgia I guess.

Another place I don't care much for -- and I know I'll get crucified for saying it -- is Popeyes. I guess I've been spoiled by Gus's and Uncle Lou's and Lorman Country Store.

I also don't care for Zeeland Street, PF Changs.

Not this board necessarily, but I've never understood people's infatuation with Chipotle.

I don't go to Zippy's after I saw a rat just chilling by the outside fountain area the last time I went.

Curbside's patties suck but I don't think that's a secret.

I'd never turn one down but I don't find Mary Lee donuts to be very special.

Another place that totally sucks: Pastime

So does Ronnie's "Hot" Donuts. Those things are like bricks
