There was nothing memorable about it to me. It was fine, I didn’t take a bite and cringe. I finished it. It was a burger. A burger I feel like I’ve had a million times. So why is there consistently a line out the door?
The fries, though? That was truly horrific. I didn’t know one could make fries suck, but damned if they didn’t figure it out. Even having them “animal style” couldn’t hide it.

I’ve only had it once so I can’t be too specific. I definitely thought it was in the same tier as whataburger. Not as good because whataburger is the GOAT but still much better than the lower tier of McDonald’s and co.
I don’t remember the fries. I only had it once about 4 years ago even though they’re all over Dallas. I could walk to one from my house.
that probably proves your non memorable point.

Oh I would definitely put it above McDonald’s, don’t get me wrong. But I’d take a Whopper or burger from Wendy’s over it.
That’s what I’m getting at. It’s fine, it’s a burger. Whatever. I’m not saying it’s awful. I’m just saying people rave about it like it’s Gods gift to mankind, and I don’t understand why.
Shake Shack blows In-n-Out out of the water.

Whoppers are the best value pick. That 2 for $6 is great.
I need to try shake shack. I’ve always heard it’s the best.

For one, the service has dropped off tremendously. They used to valet park and opened the front doors for you. Prior to 2008, we were regulars there and had our preferred Waiter for each visit.
I have seen the quality of the food and service go down and the prices go up, so much so, that I no longer think it is worth it.
Do I think it's a good restaurant? I think it's okay but I prefer to frequent other places in BR.

That’s true about the valet service and they opening the door upon arrival. Their burger is still great.

Sushi Masa-- It's the McDonald's of Sushi
This is true. And the clientele is Golden Corral material

Sushi Masa is one of my Top 5 places to eat in BR and I make no apologies
And I totally agree about Fleming’s... last 2 times I went for dinner it was pretty darn bad. I still stop by for a burger to go once in a while but that’s the only business they’ll get from me.
In regards to BK, a double Whopper is still my favorite fast food burger.

No apologies needed.
I'll just always choose Sushi Yama over Masa.
Last time I went to Masa was last June when a friend and his wife wanted to go while my fiancee was out of town. The place was packed to the rafters with a combo of trashy families and kids running all over the place. The restaurant was unbearably hot and the food took so long to come out that the hot stuff was lukewarm and the cold stuff was warming up. Still ate like a pig and hated myself afterward. Never again.
