Ponce City Market also has the burger-centric Holeman & Finch satellite location.

The L5P location is better than the Midtown location but both are legit.

Agreed. Can't go wrong with either, but you get the full "experience" at L5P

That's really half of the fun. Sky-screaming hippies and iconoclasts at their finest.

Not in Midtown, but Fox Brothers BBQ was worth the short uber.

Agree with Vortex. Watch out for their buffalo wings though. Even their original buffalo was pretty spicy.

Miller Union is a short Uber ride away and IMO it is the best restaurant in Atlanta.

I can't think of another BBQ place in the state that is better.

All the meats are great, and their sides are all spot on.

Kuroshio is a fricking joke for Atlanta sushi and I have been 10+ times. Go to Eight, Umi, or O-Ku if you want REAL sushi. Kiroshios in Kennesaw got like a 38 on their health score too. If you think kiroshios is good sushi you don’t fricking know good sushi or you like fried rolls.

As for burgers, grindhouse, ssam and stockyard are all way better than vortex.

Vortex sister restaurant Bone garden is good next to top golf but I’ve been to vortex 5 or so times and everytime I’m underwhelmed.

There’s a spot on st simons we had last time I would take over any I’ve had in the state. Name is escaping me but it was insane good. I’d also take Heirloom and Bs over it in Atlanta. It is good bbq tho no doubt.

I’d take grindhouse everyday over vortex overpriced nonsense.

Atlanta mex scene is pretty crappy. I grew up in Texas.

Tacos la villa. Taco truck 100000000. El trompo. Bone garden. All very good authentic Mexican.

Nuevo Laredo is good too for Tex mex

To each his own. Unless I want a beer or an alcohol milk shake, (fantastic btw), I'd probably just as soon have Five Guys. Not a big fan of frozen fries at a burger place.

Since you are in Smyrna, have you tried Grub Burger in Akers Mill Square?

Been twice. Loved it.

I live right next to tacos la villa but that’s my favorite. Two lengua and two borrego. Then you top it how you want with their fresh bar.

ETA: frick now I want a couple lengua tacos

I have not. I love a good burger so I’ll check it out. Yeah I’m right next to the stadium.
