I think Sophia is the best one you didn't mention, and probably better than a lot you did.

Honestly I have never been to it. I just tried to mention different price point and types of places, not necessarily things I would go to

Went to Sophia once not too long after it opened and it was fine. I’d rank most of your original list above it. Recently went to Peche and had the tuna collar and it was on point. Peche or Le Chat Noir would be my selections if splurging.

I didn’t mean to sound like I was quibbling with you list. It was generally solid. Just wanted to throw out one more option I enjoy.

Thanks guys, we have reservations at the following places:
Briquette (Friday night)
Cochon (Saturday lunch)
Mulate’s (Sunday lunch)
Still working on dinner reservations for Saturday & Sunday night. Any feedback on those is certainly appreciated.

A couple other options are walking along the Riverwalk to the Four Seasons. Chemin a la Mer and Miss River are there. Have not eaten at either, but have heard overall positive things.

I wouldn’t waste a meal at Mulate’s if going by choice, but understand if it’s a group deal.

Restaurant Rebirth.
I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned on here. Local attorney took a group of us there. He said it was a sleeper pick when everything else is booked. Had a nice meal, service was good, great cocktails and decent wine list. Certainly better than Mulate's and Briquette. (Had an awful group dinner at the latter recently)
Looking at current menu, it maybe overpriced for what it is, but that's everywhere.

I have never been to Briquette as its never been on my radar, but I have heard generally negative things about it. I wouldn't even think of going to it.
Mulate's is fricking beyond terrible, just an absolute shite tourist trap.

Just knowing who the ownership group is here, is probably enough to make it a no go from me. I’ve never heard a single thing about it, though, but it’s a huge place.

Agreed.

Yeah I'm sure a group could...have fun at Mulate's. I just wouldn't expect any culinary delights

Thanks again for the feedback. Briquette is more of a location/convenience thing as we will be arriving Friday evening. Also, I will be cancelling the Mulate’s reservation.
