leaving Friday for 8 days in Washington state. Flying into Seattle. Spending a couple days at each of the main three national parks and a couple days on orcas Island. Kind of a shot in the dark but does anyone have any good restaurants to recommend?
Thanks in advance

Just back from that area - Seattle and Orcas.
Dining in Orcas - we really liked New Leaf at the Outlook Inn and the Inn at Ship Bay. Casual restaurant at the Rosario Marina was pretty good. Loved Orcas in general but managing the ferry was kind of a pain. Hope you have reservations.
Seattle was pretty locked up. We picked up a few things at different places at Pikes Place. I had a dozen great oysters at Taylor Shellfish off of Mercer i believe.

Thanks for the feedback. We will give those places a try.
I kind of had a feeling it would be. We have reservations for one of the really early ones going out of Anacortes . Problem is... we are coming from Olympic national park/port angeles side and the port Townsend-coupeville ferry we need to take doesn't line up with our time frame. So now we have to go alllllll the way around and back up through seattle adding almost another two hrs to the drive.
How was the island?

This is probably the best restauant on the southside of the mountain. Paradise Inn has a restaurant but its nothing to write home about. Have fun, theres some hidden hiking gems around Paradise.
Wildberry Restaurant

Paseo makes the best sandwich I’ve ever had (nose to nose with Parkway). The Mac and cheese at Beecher’s is worth the hype. If you get to Whidbey, Prima Bistro is absolutely amazing. Nothing else in the area has really wowed me.

Are you camping? There's a fancy pizza place on Orcas called Hogstone that's cool. They've got picnic tables to eat outside. Might also hit up the Taylor Shellfish Farms on Chuckanut Drive a little north of Mukilteo. It's scenic and shite. Both are open. I can give you more recs depending on where you're staying.
