Wedding is on Government Street about 60 guests Boudreaux’s would be perfect but they will be closed for renovations in February. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Rent out the new White Star Market.

When I got married we had our wedding rehearsal at a park. Boiled Crawfish, Crabs and shrimp with all the fixens. Ended up costing my parents about $700 and we had a blast.
ETA: We pretty coonass though.

What would the budget be roughly?

If he was doing B&T's his budget is very friendly lol. I believe we looked into that place and it was a hard pass.

This is going to eliminate a ton of options for you. I just went through the same thing for my wedding coming up in November. It seemed like everywhere wanted damn near $40-$50 per head and that didn't include alcohol. Look into places that have buffet options.
I ended up choosing Drusilla Seafood. I don't recall the exact number, but I believe the food alone is going to be under 2k and we have 56 guests. With alcohol it may be pushing 2500. Plus they have a giant menu as well. Many places require you to have everyone's dinner choices submitted up front and they can only choose from 3-4 options. Drusilla had like 8 options or so to pick from and everyone orders once they arrive there. Check em out and see. Might fit your budget.

To be fair that’s a pretty sizable rehearsal dinner.

Private room downstairs at the chimes was where mine was at and it was really nice. Dont think we had that many people though.

That’s where I had mine to, but we didn’t have that many people. If they could accommodate 60 it’s a great place
