I second the backyard crawfish boil suggestion. Check out Air Bnb for a large rental (say $300 a night) and then buy crawfish and have someone do the boil for you. Estimate $15 per person for crawfish. At 60 people that is $900. Go to Costco for alcohol - add another $500. Pay $200 for someone to boil, serve, clean up. Total you're looking at around $2,000

That is an interesting option and sounds like a lot more fun. So are there any such places in BR in the Mid City area?

Anyone use Superior Grill on Government? They are thinking they want to go casual now.

I know people knock on mike Anderson’s here but we had ours there at the Lee location. We had a small wedding party only one groomsman/bridesmaid, but invited all our close friends/family to the dinner... think we had about 30+ people and they did a great job, no complaints. Casual is the way to go

Had mine at City Club. I've been to a reception there as well. Food is always fantastic and it's a pretty cool venue.

Pretty sure that location does not take reservations and the only option you may have is to rent out the patio, however they have bands booked Thurs-Sat. The new location on Highland Road does have private rooms.

This would be perfect if the weather’s cool.

Or what about the museum in City Park? Facility Rental Or the Shaw Center downtown? River Terrace
