I was supposed to soak the beans overnight. I forgot about them and now it is too late to cook them. They are in the fridge will they still be fine to cook tomorrow evening?

Get them cold and keep them cold until you are ready to cook and cook them soon.
They're is a lot of organic material there that will begin to ferment if they get too warm or sit too long in the fridge.
You do NOT want the odor of fermented beans in your house. It fricking reeks...

My red beans, and other bean varieties come out fine with just a short soak in warm water while I'm chopping my trinity and garlic to put in the pot.
I never soak my beans longer than 20 minutes, and that is mostly to check for any dirt balls or bad beans that occasionally turn up in the bags.
Drain them, maybe add some fresh cold water and cook them later.

Soaking is not necessary. Just rinse clean and cook. I made a perfect pot last night in about 3 hours

We NEVER soak beans in water. We spend a fair amount of time making different stocks in the pressure cooker, then freezing in quart bags. We want the beans soaking up the stock while cooking instead of plain water before cooking. Takes about 1 1/2 hrs for 2 lbs of un-soaked beans to cook, which we do at least once a month.
