I like boot leather jerky. Don't care for the plump and moist. I like the kind you find at places like the French market in NOLA or gun shows. The kind some guy is doing as a side biz trying to be the next jack links.

My dads homemade is the best I've had. But if I have to buy some, it's from Bergerons in Port Allen. I hate their boudin and boudin balls, but their jerky is pretty good. Their andouille and tasso is legit as well.
