I would consider blanching or steaming them for a couple minutes before grilling them. They might get a too charred before they’re done.

No such thing. I roast them in the oven all the time and the blackened crunchy salty pieces are the best.

Thick cut bacon, slice into lardons. Render out the fat low and slow in a pan until almost getting crispy. Cut brussel sprouts in half and toss in the bacon fat and lardons. Salt and pepper. Roast in 400-425 degree oven, or grill if you don't have an oven, until Brussels are cooked through and charred and bacon is crispy, tossing every few minutes.

My two go to Brussel Sprout recipes.

1. Evoo, S&P, Frank's red hot. Stick of butter in a pan, slow simmer sprouts until just before tender. Move to a foiled cookie sheet, add another coating of Frank's, and broil for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle of bleu cheese crumbles before serving optional.

2. Evoo, S&P. Roast in oven on foiled cookie sheet. Place a wire rack above them, add bacon strips to cook/drip on to sprouts. When ready, cut bacon into chunks and add to sprouts. From here, sometimes I'm done, sometimes I'll add some parm, sometimes I'll sprinkle balsamic and broil for 5 minutes. Then add parm or not.

cut in half, toss in evil, salt, and pepper and roast in the oven. If you want a little heat you can sprinkle a bit of cayenne in there.

preheat oven to 375. cut sprouts in half and place in mixing bowl. drizzle over some olive oil. kosher salt, and fresh cracked black pepper to taste. then pour in a little balsamic vinegar. toss the sprouts to be sure it is mixed well, then spread out on foil lined baking pan. cook about 35-40 minutes or until crispy

My downvoter has obviously never been to Butcher and The Boar in Minneapolis. Red Hot Brussel Sprouts are the tits.

If it's because of the bacon and balsamic version, then you're just a tard.

I wasn't the downvoter but I have been to Butcher & the Boar and absolutely loved that place. The charcuterie plate is incredible.

I loved it. I walked from my hotel and stepped inside just before a 3 hour torrential downpour, so I had a lot of their food and probably a few too many whiskey flights.

I do the balsamic and bacon recipe. One of my favorite side dishes. I like them crispy and a little charred
