I infused some tequila with some fresh jalapenos from my garden to take the ranch waters up a notch higher.
And as somebody else mentioned, I love palomas made with the Jarritos Grapefruit soda.

Fire in the Hole shot is pretty tasty there too.

Do you use regular topo chico or the twist of lime? Twist of grapefruit?

I just have regular Topo Chico at home but I'm sure either of the twist of variety would be good too.

Ranch Water
First time I’ve had one was today, because of this thread (Actually first four
Gotta say are quite refreshing and not nearly as cloying as a mojito or margarita. Nice, clean, and refreshing. I’m definitely going to be mixing these in the summer rotation with a paloma or IPA

I'm having my first right now. It's OK. Nothing to get very excited about. Those who insist on the Topo Chico...it doesn't seem to provide much carbonation to the drink.
I used 3oz reposado tequilla, 1.5 ounces fresh lime juice and 4 ounces Topo Chico. Found it bland and added half ounce of triple sec. I can't imagine diluting it with more of the mineral water.
It's stronger than a Pimm's Cup, but not as interesting.

Had our first today. Use a good tequila and fresh lime juice. Very refreshing. Absolutely will be on our summer drinking menu moving forward

I need to go to Ranch 616 in Austin and have one. Not that it'll taste any better, but supposedly a bucket list ATX activity.
I'm here in Austin as well. I've never been there, but I might have to stop by after an LSU game (assuming Rustic Tap remains the LSU bar).

And the Patron Citron does add a lot to the drink.

A porch style mint julep. Make in a mason jar.
Roughly muddle your mint with sugar. A tsp for every leaf. I use 10 leaves. (The sugar won't dissolve anyways. That's the idea. Screw syrups.) Not a paste, not bruised. Ribbons.
1/3 of jar, whiskey. Stir.
Add ice until 2/3 jar is full
Add San Pellegrino until full.
Lightly stir.
Use the bottom of this drink to make the next one. Less sugar each time as long as you have an abbrasive.
If you are anti undissolved sugar, you can chiffonade the mint for the second drink onward.
