Raising Cane's employees vs all other fast food employees

Why does it seem that Cane's usually has top notch employees and all the other fast food places don't??
For those that have worked at Cane's, do they have some sort of intense training program? Or some reading and comprehension tests? Basic math tests? I just don't understand the huge difference in employees from Cane's and the other fast food restaurants.
I know, I know, CSB, etc.

Usually look for employees that are in college, instead of employees off the street. Being located in college towns helps.

I don't know what Cane's is, but I would put Chic-fil-a employees up against them any day of the week.

I have wondered this too, I have experienced nothing but excellent service at Canes.

To be honest, I thought the exact same thing today at Canes on Lee and Burbank.

because they employ Caucasians

they give out (or used to) rewards like gift cards. they promote a fun environment by playing music during shifts and they have a lot of company-wide and store specific gatherings for employees
eta: they really stress the whole secret customer thing because the highest rated stores get perks

I wonder if the Cane's on Plank has good employees. Chic Fil A tends to have good employees as well.

Yeah, the college town location helps.
But give it 10 years and see how you feel.

Canes is better than Chic Fil A. Chic Fil A is a solid #2 though.

Chik-fil-a does have good employees as well, so what makes these two places on a totally different level as far as consistent good food, great customer service, clean locations, employees who can comprehend and add/subtract, etc.?
