Post 'em if you've got 'em: best things to eat in NOLA at $10 or less. Yes, that's an arbitrary number, but I started the thread, so there. Emphasis on quality (esp flavor) over quantity. What'cha got?

Guy’s Poboys. Probably my favorite poboy anywhere and the small 6” is about $10 and is about twice that long when you get it.

Taco Trucks - Taqueria La Coyota, Taco Loceaux, etc...

Vietnamese - Banh Mi or Pho
- Dong Phuong, Pho Tau Bay, etc...

Wings - Finn McCools, Mopho, Blue Oak, Fat Harry's etc...

Breweries around town will usually have food pop-ups or trucks serving up some good grub for low prices.

Can we be as specific as possible? "Food trucks" doesn't help anyone looking for a good value. Here are a few of my faves:
--happy hour wings at Hippie Kitchen, cheap wings & tacos (IIRC, 25 cents and $2, respectively)
--$6.50 bahn mi at Pho Tau Bay, though those are expensive compared to the $3-$4 ones at Dong Phuong
--steak & egg bahn mi, $8, Bahn Mi Boys
--egg salad tartine (open face sandwich) at Tartine, $8.50

Keep 'em coming....

I like the flavor of McHardy's, but you occasionally get what I call "pigeon pieces"....lil dinky undersized miniature chicken parts.
