good, you should be going with mich ultra

Seriously though, typically any sort of liquor and diet is what I drink. Some people say that their tolerance drops off a good bit while on keto, so if you're drinking liquor just be careful. You may not be able to handle as much as you're used to. I really do drink mich ultra when I just want to sip on a beer or 6...the amber version isn't terrible, but I'd like to find something better.

Besides Tito's and splashes of lime, what other beverages do you guys go for if you've gotta have a drink.

Jameson (or Redbreast when feeling fancy) on the rocks is my go-to.

But currently 23 days sober for this Lenten cut.

Captain and diet tastes like vanilla coke. Goes down real smooth. But that's really sweet, so typically I like to do bourbon with a splash of soda and lemon or lime. Vodka with soda and lemon is good, also.

Tito's or Ketel One martini on the rocks.

I've been drinking more wine, although I think that would mess up ketosis.

Yea that's what I meant. I'm okay with Golden Light too. I can get it around here actually.

I'm all gung ho and will steer clear this weekend but I've got SXSW the next weekend and I know I'm going to be chugging beers. I'll try to keep the hard stuff clean though.

I see the unvarnished success of our keto brotherhood has rustled Jimmies of a an incalculable magnitude. That means we are on to something here....we will not bend. We will not acquiesce. Onward to that spire above the treeline.

I really don't understand the shitting on people for trying to find *any* eating plan that helps them lose weight. The trolls of the OT/internet in general are fricking absurd sometimes. Everyone seems to have this, I'm the only one that can possibly be correct in the way I see the world, and if something isn't done their way then everything else is just wrong or stupid.

whatever, frick 'em.

It's the OT.. I've seen bigger spats over diets before. There are more ketoers now than there ever has been.

Baws

Come Monday I'm ready to jump on the keto train. I have the weekend to prepare myself and hope to meal prep for the week Sunday

I know there's tons of info and links on the last few pages, so it's a little overwhelming. Where do you suggest I start?

Keto reddit FAQ

Stick to the FAQ, don't wander into the idiots now posting there. It's become a keto junk food forum mostly.

My recs after 3.5 weeks in keto:

Do not have cheat meals.

Stick to easy to make staples.

If you have to drink alcohol just drink titos vodka and soda or lime.

Plug your numbers into a keto calculator when you begin to get accurate macros. Then log everything you eat and drink for the first 2-3 days until you get a good feel of about how much you need to eat to hit your numbers.

Drink 3 liters of water a day

Take the magnesium supplements daily and salt the cap out if your food.

Get ready to buy new pants.

New to this thread.

Started Keto on Monday this week and so far everything is going great. I don't own a scale (I'm actually buying one today) but I feel skinnier already and jeans already fitting a little more loose.

Since I don't own a scale I don't know my exact weight, but last time I weighed myself I was 225 and I typically hover around 225-230. My goal is to get down to 180.

Ketardation knows no bounds. I was with a client today that brought lunch in for a big group. Lunch was pizza.

I filled my plate with salad then grabbed a couple pieces of the pie loaded with meat....scraped off all the cheese pepperoni and sausage and threw away the bread.

I'm thinking of requesting a Keto board for you ketards. I used to like this thread.
