That is impressive

I had an okay weekend diet-wise.. ate a little too much but really curtailed the drinking. I'm hoping for a bigger drop come Friday. Only had one cheat meal Saturday night.

I've also decided to throw out grains, aside from my weekly allotment of 2 beers. I will continue eating tubers and legumes, but I really have no reason for grains at this point. They were just filler, empty calories. I'll replace them with protein and fat and more veggies. I think that'll help me lose more.

Love me some kafta kabob

Had the same thing for lunch, but from Byblos Market

I know hummus isn't exactly keto, but I was able to fit it in and stay below 40g net today.

With not having eaten any food since yesterday at this time, I fit it in as well.

Delicious. That was a good recommendation.

Over the past two years I have listened to many podcasts and youtube videos about ketosis. I am all about learning as much as I can about ketogenic diets, I even went straight carnivore for 4 months with no ill effects to prove a point to friends, what does the human body need? I didn’t need to lose much, so my goals were more psychological and “curing” depression. When I started, I made it a goal to go to science. These are the experts leading the way to help reshape our thinking of food.

I went down a rabbit hole and never came out. There are other articles, and websites that collect studies, but figured the videos are easier to understand.

Weighed in after breakfast and coffee again. Need a battery for my digital scale at home. This isn't cuttin it.

The 24 hr fast was ok. Didn't really like it, but I woke up feeling pretty agile.

Were you just trying to "reset" yourself with that long of a fast?

Yeah.
I had a pretty good weekend of eating. Didn't cheat, just had a lot of rich food between Peche, Dragos, then a grill out Sunday at my mil's.

I slept good last night, but I woke up starving again at 3 am. Ate some almonds and made a pot of coffee.

Just joining this party. Started at 220 in November and am down to 200.2 this morning. Won't read the entire thread but will try to pick up some new tips for low carb options.

How do you make your tuna salad? I always used mayo onion and pickles. Anything else?
