Bham, do you buy that expensive arse coffee and expensive arse grass-fed butter, or are you just adding regular unsalted butter to your normal cup of Community in the AM?

I never bought the expensive coffee. I did start off with the grass fed butter, but now just use any unsalted butter. I can't really tell the difference.

Glad to see you're still fighting the good fight on here Hulk. Right at 100 lbs is pretty impressive.

Is this your lowest or have you lost and regained?

Just got fitted for a tux. I always feel that the waist they put down is always bigger than what I actually wear in jeans or shorts. It was a 33. I am pretty bucked about that.

I got all the way down to 250 just before Xmas of 2012. Then.... I got into craft beer Ballooned back up to 284 at the heaviest.

I tried bulletproof coffee this AM.. I don't really feel any different. I did for about an hour, felt great. But that wore off. I will keep doing it, though, as a way to get all of the fat I need in my diet.

yeah when I initially lost like 15-20 a few years ago I never really gained it back. I am supposed to be small so I guess it is easy for me to keep it off. I just had gotten over 190 after the holidays and figured it was time to get it back down.

2nd day doing the bulletproof coffee. That plus cottage cheese and almonds for breakfast. I feel like a champion 3 hours later. This stuff is awesome

Yeah, definitely gives me a little extra energy that outlasts anything you get from carbing up.

Another birthday to deal with this weekend that saw me drinking too much and eating bar food. Apparently I managed to keep it all in check for the most part as I wasn't sitting at 225 like I expected to be. Good times

Honestly not sure why the jump. Ate a little under 1800 cals yesterday, although I had Zoe's for lunch and that's chocked full of sodium, so I'm going to guess that did it.

So we adding butter to coffee? That may lead to some pretty spectacular GI activity

The coconut oil stirs up the gi activity if you aren't used to it.

I love some BPC

So you you can just drink unsalted butter and coconut oil in your coffee, how long until you eat something does this curb your appetite?

How much do you put in your coffee? Thanks!

It's a filling breakfast. I won't be hungry until lunch.

Here's my take on it:
1 cup coffee
1 TBSP unrefined coconut oil
1 TBSP unsalted kerrygold butter
1/2 TBSP heavy cream
1 stevia packet

I do:
1 cup coffee (I use kcups, i have the mcdonald's coffee atm)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter (i have walmart butter )

I eat 1/2 cup 4% cottage cheese and a serving of raw almonds mixed in with the cottage cheese. I eat breakfast at 5:30AM, go to the gym, protein shake after, then I'm good until about noon. I'm about to eat lunch and I'm starving. Energy is not a problem, though.

While we're sharing some recipes, my new protein shake concoction is delicious.

8oz Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 scoop Dymatize ISO 100 Gourmet Chocolate
1/2 tbsp heavy cream
1 tbsp PB-Fit

Put in blender bottle, shake up, and drink

Delicious

This is an interesting Q&A with regards to diet and exercise, especially if you want to get "shredded". I know everyone has different programs and eating habits and whatnot.

Does it mix well?

I have problems getting proteins to mix with almond milk.
