How are you liking intermittent fasting so far? I started Monday and I'm loving it. I was hungry the first two days but that has went away. Really enjoy being able to have a big meal in the afternoon and still have plenty of calories left over. I seemed a lot leaner last night and this morning but its probable because I drank more water than normal.

Well, I didn't fast the last couple of days so I'm just getting back to it now. But yeah I agree, after the 2nd day you're not even hungry anymore outside of your 'feeding window'. I like it a lot.

One thing I've liked about this fasting is I've gotten used to black coffee now. No more creamer and aspartame

My easiest fast is supper to supper which I am doing today. We always have our big meal of the day at supper so I enjoy breaking it with that. but the most productive was lunch to lunch.

I learned to drink unsweet tea with nothing in it years ago but I still have a touch of creamer or milk in my coffee. I just don't like it black.

Glad that I'm where I am after the blowout I had yesterday. Should keep to the diet for the most part this weekend. I haven't lost any lbs in a week but I'm at least maintaining.

I have a question about this fasting. Are you more likely to put the weight back on right away once you go back to a normal eating schedule? Does it actually work and keep everything off? I've never done it before nor have I thought about it. Wouldn't be opposed to trying it once. But what is the typical loss rate while fasting compared to say a normal eating routine with exercise? Does exercise take place during the fasting period??
SO many questions

Brou, google Michael Mosley, 5and2 Fast Diet. Lots of healty results. :notashareholder:

People have fasted for thousands of years without catastropy.
It's more about control and discipline.

How do you do the 5and2 fasting bench? Is it fast on Monday and Friday and eat normally the rest?

Yes, generally supper to supper Monday and Friday. Normal meals on the other weekdays tend to be low carb. Normal weekend meals are anything and everything. One adjustment l'm going try is to cut way back on my daily coffee intake based on a hint from a longtime lurker.

Why? Coffee helps in fat mobilization and helps curb appetite.

I want to see if a reduction will help clear up some morning blurred vision issues like it did for him.
