ok i dont feel so bad now..i was hiding from this thread because i got on the scales the day after christmas and was 207

i've since dropped back to 198ish (hard to read on my parent's pre-ww2 scales that have tic marks that go 2-lbs at a time.

i've been under the 200 mark on the scales but its a struggle being in the land of johnnys-pizza this week.

so i'm going to call it 198 today and hopefully i can start moving that # back down again.

I'm behaving today but tomorrow night I'm off to Casa Garcia then New Years Day I will load up on peas and rice with sausage.

I'm hoping to be around 175 on the 2nd but I think it will be higher.

Heck, I packed on 2 yesterday. I was expecting a little increase from the office lunch but not 2.

I just look at something salty and gain 2 pounds now.

I've been in mourning for my diet. It died a miserable slow death the last several days.

I may have the largest 4 day gain in the history on mankind.

For the first time in almost two years, I was chicken to get on the scale this morning.

But

The good news is that I can get back to it now that the holidays are over.

I think its been 9 days since I weighed but today..

225/200/185

I think I was around 199 before the holidays. 1 lb I can deal with. Sat I had very few carbs and ystdy back to strict diet, cardio 6 days a week. I will go a no cheat this weekend (wow, that seems like a long way off) and cheat on Mon for the big game. One problem with the holiday cheating is getting started again. Anyone get induction flu? I feel as though I'm ready to break this 200 plateau, this week will be my 3 mo anniv of starting back on this journey. Keep working hard folks

No cheats until I get back to 165.

169?

My low was 163.5 back before Thanksgiving.

The holiday season did me in but I have also been eating too much at work.

Starting the job really messed with my routine. I need to stop making work related excuses and I need to get back to work finding a new routine with work.

I figure I should drop about 8 to 10 pounds in the next 4 days as I move back into induction. Then the rest might take a bit of time.

I want to hit my low before Mardi Gras.

The two year birthday for my diet is on March 16 and I want to be at 159 on that day.

I'm going to be a raving lunatic for a few days because my body has gotten used to eating whatever whenever.

Finally took the plunge yesterday..hope to get some support here. Started Atkins yesterday...

353/353/250

I hate dieting so thought I would give Atkins a try since I have never tried it before..

first day menu (feed back welcomed!!!)

breakfast: 3 eggs fried, 6 pieces bacon
snack: hard boiled egg
lunch: porkskins (yea i know not enough)
supper: 3 cups salad, 1 chicken breast, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/4 cup pickles, 2 tbsp blue cheese dressing
snack #2: hard boiled egg

based on Spark people meal tracker it came out to

1,913 calories
13 carbs

calories look high but is that normal on Atkins?

feel full this morning..

hope Im doing this right
