Sorry I have been MIA. I was in Nashville last weekend. I went to the weigh in today and I was up 1.4 pounds. Not bad considering I didn't count points and all that for 5 days straight. Still hovering at 45 lbs lost total. Have a few weeks now with less events, etc so hopefully I can hit the 50# mark soon.

You say this all the time, but I have never read that induction is only for two weeks.

He specifically says that induction is a 2-week period, but you can extend it if you wish, up to 6 months.

OWL isn't fun and games, it's a PITA learning how foods affect you, finding your CCLL, and staying under. That's why I just stick to 20-30 carbs/day, just easier that way.

I ate a little bit more than I should have yesterday but I did get a 10 mile ride done.

Hopefully that is the last gain from my transition from Atkins back to carbs.

I'll be pissed if the damn scale moves up again tomorrow.

Just sent a nasty email to myfitnesspal.com for having advertisements for pizza rolls on their site.

You're going to gain when you go from atkins to carbs. Your body has to balance out.

I'm already up almost 4 pounds in 2 days, so as I said, hopefully that is it.

Spent last week doing a training class for work. Didn't have time to make it to the gym, but was able to stay true to my diet with the catered meals(had several meat and vegatable options om the menu each day). Was hoping to break even for the week and ended up still losing a pound. Gonna push hard this week.

I inadvertently spent a whole week back home in anticipation of the birth of my nephew. I thought I absolutely killed the diet since I ate whatever I wanted. However, only bounced up 3.4 pounds. I was anticipating a much higher weight this am...

My goal is to be "perfect" with the diet for the next two weeks in prep for the big Nov. 5th weekend of football and birthday celebrations.

Yeah...not a bad idea. I need to be pretty strict until that point as well. I'm sure I'll gain a couple pounds Thanksgiving weekend.

Ugh I didn't help my cause this weekend.

I have a new goal. I want to lose 100 pounds by Feb. 26, or one year from start. That would put me at 263. From today, that means I need to lose 36 pounds in 4 months from my lowest of 299 right now.. A lofty goal, but I think to stay on track, your goals should be a little lofty. Set the bar low, perform low. So:

363/303/263 by feb. 26, 2012

This being said, my birthday is next weekend and I'm going to a Halloween costume party. I'm going to start hitting the exercise and diet hard, though.

Nice Norm!

I'm up again.

Stupid carbs and the water gain.

1200 calories yesterday, yet up another 1.5.

I've run the past 2 days with my friend. We do a run/walk, but it's high intervals with a minute to minute and a half between. Actually having some fun with it.

just remember, you don't have to sever the leg to weigh it.
