what do these numbers mean?

210/179/180.
Busted thru the last barrier. The low weight is after spinning at lunch and not having anything to eat since last night. This is typical for me, I don't eat anything for breakfast except 3 cups of coffee. I'm sure that the weight goes back up after eating lunch (a salad) and rehydrating. I don't care, that is what the scale said at one point in time. Now the goal is to keep it around 180, give or take a few pounds. I will periodically give updates and of course encouragement and support for every one of our hard working PUTTADAFORKDOWNERS because I could not have done it without youse guys/gals.

Sounds good. Have any specific date in mind? I'm fickle about weekends during football season.
You can e-mail me at Gmorgan4982@yahoo.com if you want.

Dungeness crab is Wednesday nights. I'm not going anywhere on football weekends either.

Cool. Is next Wednesday night good? I'm about to head out the door for a class so I may not read your answer for a while.

This is funny and you probably don't realize this but you and I tailgate together. I'm "tank's" sister's BF. Obviously the one that's not married. "A" told me you are R2R. This thread is awesome and I look forward to posting my losses.
P.s. the tailgate food is the only thing that interrupts my weight loss.

agreed. i'm was a little heavy there for a while but i lose weight fast. problem is i work 80 hours a week and have zero time to lift weights. try to run and do pushups/situps as much as a can . which ends up being about once a week
and on the weekends i am almost always out of town or busy doing thing that include eating and drinking. i stick to healthy food during the week for the most part - sandwiches for lunch and usually a light healthy dinner. if I had a pure desk job and wasn't moving around all day i probably wouldn't have been able to shed those 10 pounds. going to try and curtail my drinking. i'm already off carbonated drinks. used to have about 4 per day

300 pages???
i'm around..
257/196/175
had my last competitive cycling event this past weekend and now i'm a strava nerd going out and stealing KOMs (King of the Mountain..or fastest time for a given segment) around town on climbs and other competitve segments.
loads of fun
i did a route yesterday at lunch that 271 people have done and took 3 out of 4 KOMs in one attempt. i've got all this fitness at the end of the season and not sure what to do with it so i'm attacking all the routes. its ridiculous how competitive people have gotten about this.
if you have an iphone or android you can save your ride data..i'm sure there are some KOM sprints on river road in baton rouge.

What app is that? Is it just something that tracks your GPS location on bike rides and lets you compete against other people that have taken the same route?
Pretty cool either way

Back to Atkins
Started this morning with a nice burger for breakfast.
Just can't seem to maintain eating damn carbs so I am back on Atkins until I get back down to my low water mark.

I started a chart with a trend line as someone suggested in the thread. I just put the data range through the end of the calendar year.
I think my actual fat loss is a little better than what the chart is showing because I'm actually properly hydrated now so my starting weight should have really been higher.
I'd be happy if I could keep pace with that trend line

EXACTLY.
strava.com. it works for cycling and most recently they've added running as well. on top of that any garmin device or 'ride mapping' app for the iphone or andriod is compatible so if myth has one of these phones he has no excuse since those apps are free.
its so cool..you know the people you're competing against and some of the time splits are down to seconds.
i was king of the hill for some climbs this weekend and then i ended up losing one by :01. :\ thats how competitive this stuff is.
its very cool for training in the off season and gives you a way to gauge your progress against others.

Do I really want an app telling me that I am moving slower than a 300 pound woman who just gave birth to twins and is moving faster than me pushing said twins in a stroller?
