Okay, which one of you pissed chicken off?
ETA: Maybe he needs to drop a few pounds and our thread is making him feel guilty.

PUTTADAFORKDOWN
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
September 28, 2010.
261 pounds. Most I've ever been.
Post number one. I'll go from here to day before Thanksgiving and I'll post a weight then.
Sucks because the board will suffer from my lack of kick arse recipes.
Happy Anniversary to this thread and all posters within. Special thanks to Martini, the OP for inspiring a bunch of losers to do just that.
I guess the stickie expired or had a one year limit. Perhaps we can get a new "PUTTADAFORKDOWN Part Deux" approved for use by Admins.
Posted on 9/28/11 at 11:36 am to Benchwarmer
I didn't notice that date. Hopefully the admins resticky.

I question the logic of some people.
They need to get this thing stickied again ASAP.
I was at 247 on day 1 of this thread and now I sit at 174 with a low of 164.
Do the right things ADMINS and keep this thread going.
For god's sake, do it for the children. You have to do it for the children. Do you hate the children? Leave Brittney Alone!

I guess we'll just have to post even more to keep it near the top. You folks damn well better be here to congratulate me when I bust through the 200 lb barrier.

I've been following the thread for awhile so I guess now is a good time to post.

Congratulations on the progress that many of you have made!!! I let myself go after I graduated. Now that I'm back in school for my next degree, it's time to reacquire healthy habits. I started the c25k program last week so hopefully that, along with a healthy diet, will help with the weight loss.

Day 1 was easy because I ate 300 pounds a black eyed peas with sausage and rice on Jan 1 and 2.
Day 2 was also pretty easy but I woke up in the middle of the night so hungry I could actually eat a horse but I was also half asleep and fell back asleep. When I woke up the hunger was gone.
Day 3, I still wasn't nearly as hungry as I thought I would be.
I was reading about fasting on the net at this point and I found a few different articles that stated people could actually pass out around the 3rd day. I needed to drive around a bunch so I decided the experiment needed to end. It is one thing to mess with my health but I had no right driving around with a chance of passing out so the fast ended.
I wish I could have kept it up just to see how long I could go. In the 3 days, the only time I was cookie monster insanely hungry was when I woke up the night of the 2nd day.

231 without socks and after a pot of coffee.
Someone request a sticky. I don't know how to do that.

Lester is being his normal self and he thinks we should be happy the thread isn't anchored because according to him we only have 4-5 posters.
Evidently Lester's failure makes this thread a pain to him so he wants it gone.

WOW! This threads deserves to stay for all the latecomers. Requesting re-sticky.

Without reading 293 pages, what is the point of this thread? Not being sarcastic.
I'm back in my post deployment weight and need to shed about 50 pounds. 100 would be better.

To have people to report your weight loss to, helps keep you accountable.
And Lester's just mad. Is he even still on his diet?

Diet tips. Support. A place to vent frustration and anger with people who understand that frustration and anger.
One of my top tips for weight loss it to have a place to get support and vent frustration.
This is that place.
I tell people all the time that this thread has helped me immensely. Will it help everyone? Nope.
Can it help many? Yep.
And Hulk is right. Accountability is huge. That is another tip I tell people all the time.
