Crap, I gained 6 pounds on my trip to Dallas. Hopefully it will come off as easy as it went on.

Bham, its water. it'll be gone in about 4 or 5 days if you eat right.

Ha. It isn't all water weight. He said he ate like a horse while in Dallas. Probably a couple real pounds and the rest water from sodium overload.

323/167.2/165

My willpower is crumbling lately and the evil side of my brain won't shut up.

I was Uptown a few minutes ago and I convinced myself a shrimp poboy from Crabby Jacks was healthy.

Then I came to my senses and headed home without the poboy.

Well no doubt, but not all 6 pounds are real weight. probably 1-2.

How in the world did you convince yourself of this?

Maybe it's time for a cheat just to get it out of the way.

I just had a cheat on Friday with the Taco Bell Meltdown.

I had a planned cheat scheduled for Labor Day but my mom called and invited me and my sister over for lunch which turned out to be a hamburger patty and green beans.

I have a planned cheat all scheduled for Thursday for the Saints opener. That is what made me come to my senses on the Crabby Jack cheat. I knew I had another planned cheat so I couldn't afford another unplanned cheat.

I also decided that even though my first swing at maintenance was a miss, it really wasn't.

I gained 10 pounds but then I did what I needed to do to get back down near my goal of 165.

The cheat I had planned for Labor Day was taking my sister to lunch for her birthday about a month late. I still need to do that and we rescheduled for this weekend.

I've been using a lot more sodium on a regular basis to try and balance out my water so that I won't SHOOT up like I did last time I left Atkins.

That evil side of the brain can convince you of anything when hungry. Which is why one should NEVER grocery shop while hungry.

Lloyd Braun report by proxy:

I loved the report by proxy. I will probably step on the scale Thursday morning to gauge how Dallas treated me. I think I averaged 1 cheeseburger a day (non-point-friendly ones) also lots of beer and liquor.

It was worth it - hopefully my gain on Saturday is 1.4 lbs or less, so I still stay at 45 lbs lost total. Stay tuned...

I've been on this "eat what you want but just eat less of it" plan. No weight damage (other than to arteries) but I just feel like shat and not motivated to exercise.

I'm pretty much in maintenance now. It shouldn't even be called a cheat. It should just be called eating pizza.

I haven't had pizza since the Lost finale May of 2010 so I think I am over due for some pizza.
