Here I sit in my sealed air-tight hermit bunker awaiting the weekend report with Lloyd Braun.

I made some hot wings, breaded with parmesan cheese.. talk about good. Clean the chicken, coat thickly with grated parm cheese, bake at 375 for 45 mins-1 hr, depending on the crisp you want, then take them out and toss in a hot wing sauce.. they come out crunchy like you fried 'em and you can't really tell that it's cheese instead of breading.

Sounds great hulk. I will have to try those. Keep the recipes coming. I am getting bored with my current menu.

And here we go!!

The Weekend Report with Lloyd Braun.

279.8/233.4/160

Lost 3.2 pounds this week!!! 46.4 total! So close to 50 lbs and the 1 year mark.

Every new lower weight now is the lowest I've been in 7 years.

Just prepare yourself, Myth. There will NOT be a Lloyd Braun Weekend Report next Saturday because I'll be in Dallas!

Confession time:
I cheated last night and feel super guilty about it. Went to BJ's Brewhouse, it was a friend's birthday, and ate a pasta dish and then had beer all night long. I enjoyed it at the time but I feel bad now :( Oh well, back to it! The good news is the damage is minimal:
363/309/250

Today is a relax day from C25K but I feel guilty so I walked 2 miles this morning

It might not hit you until tomorrow.

The sodium from the meal will absorb excess water so the gain might not hit you until tomorrow.

Back in Atkins.

Down from 174.8 to 171.2 since Friday.

True.

I'm going to drink a ton of water today to try to flush it out. And I'm probably going to walk again tonight to sweat some more..

hey guys, sorry i havent been around much here but i'm about to get serious on this again. racing season is virtually over for me..i have a crazy century this weekend we try to finish in under 4 hours (with police escort flying along with us the whole route so we dont have to stop at traffic lights) and a race the 17th in pensacola.

after that i'm back to induction and while 159 isn't in my future i am definitely going to push to get another 15-20 off and hopefully settle around 175.

hulk..keep going man..you're within spitting distance of 299 and that wing recipe sounds awesome. definitely going to try that this week.

you are SPOT on about the sodium in chicken..i almost always lose when i have a steak..but the nights i mow down 4 or 5 chicken thighs, the next day i'm either neutral or up. makes me wonder how much sodium is in that chicken you guy from the grocery store already? i'm going to check into that next time i have a package.

good job everyone. this is still the greatest thread ever on TD.

First chicken has the natural sodium. Second, the chicken packagers inject a broth solution into the chicken to pump it up so they can charge higher prices. This is like normal store bought chicken stock which is high in sodium.

And, it really is a LOT of broth.

I can take the chicken thighs, put them in a crock pot and in half a day when i come back, the crock pot is literally full to the top with liquid. Yeah some is fat but 75% is broth leeching out that they pumped the damn chicken full of.

Each thigh has roughly 250 mgs of sodium. So if you eat 4 or 5 that is about half your RDA in that one meal.

Water weight is flying off.

Even though the scale isn't going down, I think the exercise is paying off. Probably just gaining some muscle (obviously the last few days and probably the next few days won't result in loss because I'm waiting to get back into ketosis after my one night of blowing up my diet ), but people left and right are telling me they are noticing a big difference in my posture, they notice that I'm getting smaller, moving better, etc. So I'm happy.

-I'm at a decen wait now, but I can't get motivated to lose the last 20...what did some of you do to keep the momentum?

I look at pictures of when I started and pictures of where I'm at now and see the progress I've made. I have taken pictures every month since starting so I can compare.

Broke the 60lb barrier.

I leave for my 5 day weekend/Dallas trip on Thursday, so I'm pretty sure I'll have to break the 60 lb barrier again when I get back. Hell, I may have to break the 50lb barrier again.
