170/148.5/145

In the middle of a Crab-a-pa-loser Festival. My Rouses has Louisiana lump crabmeat for $9.99 a pound. picked up 4 lbs. Yesterday I made corn-crab bisque and crabmeat au gratin. lots of bechamel sauce (flour, butter and 1/2 & 1/2) and cheese. Also made crabcakes (lots of Mayo) Consumption began last night and will contiue for the foreseeable future.

guilt will return soon.

You keep eating like that and we might meet in the middle on the scale.

170/148/145 (3rd commit 2-28-11)

6 months ago I had my doubts. original target was 150. Thanks to the knowledge and support of fellow losers of this thread I have been 146-149 range for almost 2 months.

Thanks. and the crab fest continues, just smaller portions. I'll be freezing some soon.

323/168.2/159 (goal is 165 or below on maintenance)

The water weight continues to fly off but I think I am just about dried out.

I think the scale will stall on me tomorrow.

Hang in there Hulkster. The walking and jogging you are doing is adding muscle to your legs and thighs. Just like the bike did to me and slowed my progress on the scale.

The walking and jogging might be part of it, Myth, but my friends are a bigger part I specifically told them that I didn't want to drink anything last night, well they bought me some michelob ultras anyway.. had 3.. so like 7 carbs, which isn't a dealbreaker I suppose.. but still, lack of discipline. Tomorrow is another friend's birthday and they want everyone to go to Texas Club >_<. I can tell myself no and I have no money to spend so as long as people aren't shoving free drinks at me I can definitely avoid drinking.

all remaining crab leftovers are safely on ice for future consumption. back to the staples of homemade meatballs and maranara over smothered cabbage for dinner and Subway 6" (sodium blast)for lunch.

323/167.2/159 (maintain 165)

I guess we now have proof most of the gain to 174.5 was water weight because I have dropped about 7.5 pounds since Friday being back on Atkins.

I wish I knew how much more I would have gained in water weight before stabilizing.

This next time I try maintenance I will watch my sodium which I didn't do with the first try so maybe I won't spike back up as much.

My theory is that you'll probably gain back as much as you lost in the first week, maybe even 2, on Atkins. Of course it's unfounded but just thinking logically, all that is water weight.

Doubtful I would gain that much back simply because my body is so much smaller now. I agree I would probably go back to the same water percentage but it wouldn't be the same amount lost in first week simply because I have shrunk.

I may go as low as 155 since I gained 10 pounds in my first try at maintenance. But I already have most of my family and some friends telling me I got the anorexia. Which is silly cause I still love to eat. I just want to be around 165 on maintenance.

ya never know.. just be prepared for the worst and hope for the best I doubt all of it would be gained back, that would suck. I lost what.. 19 pounds in my first two weeks? Something like that.

266.6/206.8/190 Small bump up after a low calorie day with exercise.

I really want to get back to the 60lb mark before pigging out starting tomorrow. I'm thinking about getting back on Atkins for a while after Labor Day to see if I can get another big jump toward the goal.

Holiday weekend is approaching. Be careful!

323/166/159

Only 1.5 to go to get back to my low point so I have lost 8.5 pounds in 1 week. Definitely water weight for that much to go on as fast as it did and to come off as fast as it did.

Good luck this weekend!
