You'll be alright. It is scary when that scale starts moving up though, isn't it?

Yup.

I was expecting about a 5 pound bounce but I figured it would take weeks not days.

Hopefully tomorrow I get a little dip or at least stay the same.

It really isn't possible to go up tomorrow. Especially if I get a bike ride in tonight.

I have to focus again, the last two Saturdays have killed me. I got to 160 somewhere between my last update and this one, but have't broken through yet.

I stalled out for a few days at various stages of 300, but finally broke back in to the 200s this morning.

good job josey.

Did OK on my week in Houston. Worked my butt off in the yard Sat & Sunday. Am going to hit it hard this week and next. Would really like to hit 200 by the 1st of Sept.

Counter Culture on Perkins by Essen.. delicious frozen yogurt. The yogurt itself is only 7g carbs for the medium cup, 0 fat, low calorie, etc. Sweetened with splenda. VERY good stuff. I had a small cup of the plain yogurt yesterday and I wish I had a big 'ol tub of it Plus I know one of the girls that work the front there, she's .

They have some awesome-sounding flavors for people not on low carb diets. The one my friend got was called the humphrey. Yogurt topped with grapes, strawberries, bananas, granola, and honey. Looked fantastic.

FYI, Hulk- The plain yogurt is NOT the "Only 8" that they advertise so much. I'm not exactly sure what the nutritional info is for it, but I do know that if took that info from the Only 8 info card that they provide, that doesn't apply to the plain yogurt (which is kind of false advertising, but I let it slide because their food/yogurt is very tasty).

Hope I didn't bust your bubble.

I looked up the nutritional info online from several websites before I went. I wanted to make sure I wasn't incidentally ingesting like 40g carbs or something. Turns out it was more like 3.

I really didn't go there for health reasons or anything A friend wanted to go so I decided to look it up and decide whether or not I could have a little.

Ranting on that thread? I'm good for that. Those people think losing weight is an exact science and the only way to lose weight is to kill yourself exercising to near heat exhaustion. It really irks me.

And thanks Bout time I said something funny, right?

Did Cad break out some Voodoo curse on me.

1000 calories yesterday and another gain today.

7 pounds in 6 days.

It has to be water because I simply haven't had nearly enough calories to gain 1 pound let alone 7 but damn, when the hell is this painful climb going to stop.

1200 calories today so that damn scale better be friendly to me tomorrow.

Hell, if I knew last Monday what I know this Monday I would have hit 19 fast food joints so at least I would have enjoyed my 7 pound gain.

Myth, water seeks its own level. maybe your body is seeking its own because went too far down. wasn't your goal 175? also, did you change your weigh-in time?
I've found a range (146-149) I'm comfortable with but I still list a target lower than that to keep me interested.

Hulk, last night I dreamed that I ran into you at a wedding and you were skinny. Then you admitted that you had not been on Atkins at all. You had been taking some kind of revolutionary new supplement and had lost over 100 pounds.

I felt so betrayed.

I wish. I considered trying that Sensa for men stuff for free since it was a clinical trial.. but that's cheating imo, even moreso than surgery. Although if I don't get past 300 soon I may consider taking a fat burner supplement.. this is getting ridiculous. It's like my body likes where it's at

Try the chromium picolinate. Atkins talks about it in the book. It isn't expensive -- go to Wally World and get some.

As you can see, there were no reports of a River Ridge man going postal which means the scale did finally stop moving up.

Now, I just need it to keep moving down a bit.
