Stop trying to bullshite us. We know you like to consume a little liquor on weekends with your crazy friends. And THAT has calories AND carbs.

I haven't touched it in a week, I'd think I'd have seen a loss by now. And I drink liquor and diet drinks so no carbs.. but that's a technicality since alcohol metabolizes into sugar :(

Well, I'm not going to touch alcohol and im going to exercise. 300 shouldn't be far off.

Hulk I did couch to 5k a couplenof years ago and I really liked it. My only problem with it is I want to do it again, but can't seem to get motivated. It's too hot for motivation right now. My wife and I both will start walking in the evenings when it cools off some. Right now, it's too hot to put the kids in strollers.

But how do I do it in Excel?

Sorry for the slow reply. I'm doing some continuing education and am not on my computer all day like when I'm at work.

Just put a couple of columns for the data (date and weight).

Highlight data and click insert - scatter chart. You can also add a trend line by right clicking in the chart and clicking add trend line.

I'm posting this without actually looking at Excel, so hopefully someone will correct me if I screwed something up.

Can't post my weight since I'm in a hotel without a scale.

Myth, weebles wobble but they don't fall down.

Don't worry I don't really give a rat's arse. If I did I wouldn't post personal things

I'm so sick of eggs and bacon. I didn't think it was possible, but I think if I have to go one more week on eggs and bacon in the morning, I may just puke. Myth, I know you have the same problem.. what do you eat for breakfast now? Something with avacado I remember.. I know I could eat "non breakfast" items for breakfast but I don't really like eating a chicken breast or steak or something for breakfast, I like something easier to eat.

@bham, thanks dude

Disappointed, didn't get to start the couch to 5k program yesterday. By the time I got home it was storming, and then by the time it was done I was gone again.

I got to the point that scrambled eggs or any eggs made me gag.

I switched to tuna fish and avocado salad. But I have never been a big fan of tuna fish so I tired of that after a bit and kept getting bad avocados so I switched at that point to just a burger patty and cheese slice for breakfast and stuck with that until the end.

I've been on scrambled eggs and bacon for 6 months. when I thought I couldn't go anymore I tried oatmeal one day and plain cheerios the next. That cured me. Eggs ain't so bad. every now and then I'll fry two and sop with a slice of my wife's wheat toast for variety. a few strategic carbs to keep wake me up.
just the thought of tunafish for breakfast makes me appreciate eggs more.

WTF!

168.2

Just about 4 pounds up since I hit maintenance and I haven't had over 2000 calories per day.

I knew I might get a bit of an increase with the switch back to carbs and higher sodium, but I sure didn't think it would go up every single day.

Told you, you're going to go up with the reintroduction of carbs. If you go back into induction you'll drop really quick and probably get lower than 165.

Has to stop at some point and level off.

Where the heck is the wobble Bench. This is more like an Everest climb than a wobble.

I have 2 dinners this weekend and was hoping to get whatever the heck I wanted and now I can't do that or at this rate I might weigh 369 by Monday.

i'm not sure of your consumption rate. if you're eating high carb (>170) and high sodium (>2500), you're cals are probably over 2000. do this 4 days in a row and you're not maintaining. you're eating large. just dial it back for a day or two in between fattie days. I've gained 5 lbs in a day and dropped in 3 or 4 days.

Na. I'm a stickler for portion control. I know what I am eating and it has been 1800 to 1900 calories.

I measure portions out. Only think I don't measure is the handful of salad I pull out which is a little less than a cup.

I think it is more of a sodium issue than calories because I was always around 1200-1500 and now it looks like I will be lucky to be around 2500 or higher.

This is just the first meal plan for maintenance. I will tweak things with my next trip to the store to try and knock some of the sodium out.

Just to give you an example of my meal plan now.

Breakfast - instant oatmeal (maple) I didn't want to dive right into plain oatmeal but I will next trip to the store which will cut about 200 mgs of sodium.

Lunch - Turkey sandwich on wheat with cheese slice and spicy mustard. Side salad with hot sweet mustard dressing.

Dinner - Red beans and rice with sausage. 1 cup of beans and 1 cup of rice. I will probably cut the rice back to 1/2 cup cooked but that is only about an additional 110 calories.

Snack - Wasabi peas. I've been battling these a bit. It is hard to stick to the one portion.

All of that is only 1450 calories and 2500 mgs a sodium. I ate way too early yesterday and had an extra portion of the beans and sausage which brought me up to 1950 calories.

1500 calories today and a bike ride. If the scale even thinks to move up tomorrow I am dropping that sucker off the 3rd story balcony and someone will post a youtube video of cranky old guy dancing in boxers on his balcony as scale explodes on the ground.

Myth,

Which bike did you get from Wal-mart, and how does it seem to be holding up?

Nice, dental procedures help apparently. I cut out the cocktails until last night. Decided to cut loose and wow the scale still impressed.

I'm in good position for some weekend throwdowns and H-sweats from yardwork.
