I put veggies in an omelet sometimes (onion, peppers, spinach, etc.), but you can do just meats and eggs and cheese. You are allowed some veggies on Atkins, but you don't have to eat them every meal.

I have nobody to blame but myself for this lack of loss. I've not been very disciplined when I go out, I haven't been in hermit mode like I meant to be. But my friend comes in from nola and we go out. I haven't been goin overboard, when I know we're going somewhere I skip any carbs for dinner and have 1-2 mich ultras, only 2.6g carbs per beer. But obviously something's up. I hate hermit mode..

You're still ahead of me Hulk. I'm still working off my July 4th camping trip. Tomorrow is one week from my returning weigh-in, so hopefully I will finally have that weight off. No more 4 day cheating binges.

I've decided that I am taking my scales to the beach in a few weeks so that I can shut it down if things get out of hand rather than waiting an entire week to know the results.

My mystery gain is hanging on.

174.9

I've been stressed as hell about an interview about to take place. I guess stress can cause you to hang on to weight.

My friend Megan is in town and she's lost like 27 pounds by lowering her carbs to about 80-100 per day and exercising. While she's in town she and I are gonna exercise, so hopefully that will help get me back on track with exercise.

I'm sputtering right now and struggling to keep going. I want to lose the weight so bad, but I'm so sick of having to miss out on things that I want I'm staying focused but not focused enough.

Yes, I started out exercising every day. But I fell off track and never got back on.

Finally got below my pre-4th of July weight. Also hit a new overall low and broke the 220 barrier. It's a good morning.

good morning.
14 days at/between 148 and 150. possible non-plateau but I'm comfortable with it. I just looked at the 6 month progress report and saw the down-trend from 2-28-11 to date. It helps to actually see the results.

Bench, I think when you are that close to your goal, a non-plateau just means you are properly maintaining.

Big drop this morning.

323/172.4/165

I haven't been out on the bike since Saturday so maybe my body decided it was ok to release some water.

A few pounds from the 60s. Last time I was in the 60s I was probably 5 feet tall or less.

I think you're right Bham, but I don't do well in maintenance so I'll probably keep using terms like nonplateau. I may even re-target to 145 just to stay motivated. When my bum arm (pinched ulna) heals I'll get back to exercising and adding muscle.

Myth, pretty soon you'll be entering my zone. welcome.

lost 5 pounds since Monday. this low carb diet is killing me. can't even eat a sandwich for lunch or a biscuit for breakfast. those have been a staple in my diet forever. but, this is going to be a good exercise in self discipline.
