HDL goes up with saturated fats, LDL goes up with eating carbs. Particularly simple carbs.

Where you hiding Cad?

If the front fork of my bike was backwards what effect would this have on my riding?

It seems the fork has been backwards since I got the bike. Walmart installed it that way.

Some guy on the net saw my bike and told me the fork was backwards and I was going to kill myself.

I changed it but I can't see how it would make much of a difference.

Finally weighed this morning after the camping trip. I gained 4 lbs, but deserved worse after the way I ate.

Now I have 24 days of being good before my annual beach trip. I need to lose as much as possible over the next few weeks so I can gain it back on the vacation.

You're gainin muscle man! You're of an appropriate weight now, so I wouldn't look at just the scale for measuring progress anymore.

I know I am gaining muscle but I also still have a huge gut to work on.

You may need to do ab exercises more than riding a bike to get rid of that bud.

Don't worry. Chicks dig the gut. Washboard abs are overrated.

You can't target weight loss. Yes you can put muscle under the fat, but that does not cause fat in that area to go away.

Well, put muscle under the fat and keep burning fat! Eventually you'll get rid of the belly. You may not get to a 6 pack but hey..
