I like oatmeal and pineapple. Not necessarily together, but in general.

I'm 22 so I don't give a shite about my cholesterol

Did check my BP when I ran by work earlier today though, 121/83.

(stands) "Hi everybody, my name is Roar, I'm 240, and I too am guilty having subscribed to the Les Miles School Of Clock Management On Caloric Intake, instead of the Dr.Atkins.

I like this diet team, I like their fight, I like the resolve, I'll take them around and they'll eat any sucker, I, uh, we learned stuff today, we're gonna be better, we're gonna keep coming, this is a setback, this is not what we want, this is not what we planned, we look forward to the future, we expect it to be very lite. Luv and Degas, I'm trying to rid the house and pantry of carbs, unfortunately I'm digesting as much of them, as I am tossing them into the garbage.

Trying to eliminate wasted calories in drink, be it soft drink or beer. No chips, no white rice, switching to quinoa and cous cous.

Breaking out the treadmill, trying to get some cardio, drinking plenty water, and buying more fruit and fresh produce.

here's a good treadmill workout if anyone is interested:

incline speed time
1.0 3.0 1-3 min
3.0 4.0 3-7
5.0 3.5 7-11
7.0 4.0 11-15
8.0 3.3 15-19
9.0 3.8 19-23
10.0 3.0 23-27
0 3.0 27-30

it was spaced out all nice when i typed it but when i posted it the spaces went away.

I just did this workout and let me say it is an arse kicker. Great workout and according to my treadmill burned 410 calories. Best of all it went by quick because you were always changeing your pace/incline.

Thank you Jabberwocky

Crumble time. 7 days with no loss even though I have been flawless on my diet with exercise.

Well, I chowed down on a big meal to try and kick things back in motion.

I'll probably gain 2 to 3 pounds tomorrow, but I needed to do something, because killing myself for 8 days with no loss was wearing me down.

Blurp. I can barely move.

Put two pounds on. Hopefully that kick starts my metabolism again.

Probably just water retention, but yes, a big meal like that should break you out of your plateau.

I hit a two week plateau not that long ago. i went to Doe's and split a 2 1/2 lb sirloin with the fiancee (we ended up taking home 1.5 lbs of meat) and i ate salad and green beans. Ever since that meal, the weight has been coming off.

I started at 313 lbs with a 46" waist
Now, I am 252 lbs with a 38" waist.

I am 6'4" and have a decent amount of muscle on my body from years of sports and working out. I hope to get to 230-235 with a 36" waist.

Good luck to everyone
