After deads, I got on the scale. 212 soaking wet.
I may be sub 210. Don't know. Don't care.

Did the Tulane thing and results basically confirmed what I knew.

28.6% body fat mostly around the midsection. But my lean/height put me into the 78 percentile, is this good? I'm thinking that means lean muscle? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Grip test had my right hand being like 17 points better than my left
Anyways not a bad experience if anyone else is looking into it. They're all super nice

the percentile is where you rank vs peers in lean mass for your height.

Tried making keto friendly pizza last night. It was okay, but the crust was weak since I wasn't able to get all of the water out of the cauli. Might give it a try again later this week.

Had a pretty bad weekend eating and drinking. Probably going to fast until before my workout tonight.

Have a gainzy week everyone!

Someone threw an engagement party for me and my fiancee, so I had a good time. All things considered I didn't do too bad, but I am going to wait to weigh in because I know the number won't be good and could be discouraging.

Why are chips bad for you? Namely Ruffles and Fritos

Very little sat. or trans fat.
1g of sugar.

Is it the cholesterol?

Just guessing here, but it's probably something to do with the fact a serving is 12-15 chips and probably packs 20+ carbs and 150+ calories.

How often does one only eat 12-15 chips?

Calorically dense, nutritionally sparse.

Believe what you may, but type of calories matter. 100 calories of chips does not equal 100 calories of broccoli or 100 calories of steak. Not all calories are alike.

And as for cholesterol, go read up on the links about cholesterol in the OP.

For purposes of my diet, a pound a day for 30 days: have done it twice, I cut out sugar and sat/trans fats.

So I should be good with these right?

I have huge food weaknesses so I'm trying to cut corners where I can

Hey hulk,
About to hit the gym. Been off the pain train for a few days (vacation). Back on now.

It was fun, but being undisciprined is so weak.

You guys are incredibly negative in a thread that should be about encouragement. I can't say shite without being ridiculed, and can't enjoy my own engagement party without downvotes and shite. Why?

Cutting out sugar and trans fats is a great start. There is no need to cut out saturated fats because there has never been a link that they cause any health problems.

Not being negative hulk. Just keeping it real. Tough love makes for stronger #Gainz.

The #Paintrain doesn't enjoy anything. It only rolls down the track to success.

Ate way too much yesterday and didn't get much exercise since my tennis lesson got canceled. About to fast until tonight.

Might try some steaks on the new pit we got this weekend.

Gotta get my mind right for Fogo on Friday.

You do you Hulk and enjoy the shite out of your special occasions! And congrats on the soon to be? wedding!

I carb'd up for 2 weeks before and during the week of 4th until this weekend. I did hop on the scale when I got home and was 218 but that was honestly better than I thought. I've been back with Keto since Monday but still haven't gotten on the scale. Enjoying my second and final week off from the gym as well.

Still not really focusing on the weight anymore and don't weigh every single day like I used to. I'm getting closer and closer to hitting my first gym goals (225/315/315) on my BP/Squat/DL so I'm still going to be eating to gain...but even at this weight I'm holding it much better than in the past. My clothes are all still fitting well etc.
