Tennis tonight here, too. Kick some arse

Did another day of IF, gnawed on tuna with a salad for lunch, and have a few hot sticks for dinner. Gonna try not to eat anything with naughtiness. Just not worth it when you’re staring down the barrels of boobs, a spare tire, and dickdo.

Wrap it in lettuce next time and pretend it’s a sandwich. I’m about to get on that routine in a day or two.

Mine had all that stuff chopped up over lettuce. It was good. I like the lettuce wrap sandwiches, and plan to go that route, too.
I ate carbs before my match because I was feeling like arse. I’ve never reached the point where I feel like I have endurance on low carb. Not sure how to power through to that point without playing (even more) terribly til I adjust.

Day 4 in the books. Perfect keto So Far. Over the hump.

Over the hump
Saturday marked, for me with Keto, what alcoholics like to refer to as moment of clarity.
I remembered what it was like to come in out of the fog. I cheered up all of a sudden for no reason and started singing to myself and telling myself jokes in my head. I can see my skin looks better, and there is a reduced swelling in my fingers and toes. I asked myself why I quit doing this diet. The answer to that question in a word.....

Awesome! Mine has been imperfect, but within the range I wanted to stay. Down 4 lbs since Wednesday.

Have y’all had issues with dehydration on Keto? I pee constantly while adjusting to the diet, and know we retain less water. It didn’t really occur to me that this would cause me to get dehydrated a lot faster than normal (in hindsight: duh). We walked 5 mi this afternoon, as we’ve been doing since the start of the year. It’s not like it’s overly exerting. But today is the first time I’ve done it with the combo of higher heat/humidity and low carb. By the last mile, I felt super overheated and thirsty. Half a mile from home, the heat exhaustion goosebumps popped up. I never bring water when we’re out because it’s like an hour & has never been an issue. Once we got home, I felt super sick & had to lie on the tile floor to try to cool off. It sucked. I still feel cruddy an hour later.
I’ll definitely bring water next time, but ugh. It’s not even that hot, and a stupid walk killed me. This isn’t going to work as it gets hotter & I’ve got tennis.
Have any of you noticed you get dehydrated easily now?

You need a magnesium supplement. How much water are you drinking everyday?
Posted on 2/18/18 at 7:35 pm to BRgetthenet
I bought some magnesium finally a few days ago. I drink a lot of water, but I seriously pee like 20x a day during this adjustment period. It’s ridiculous.
