I hear ya.

I guess coming from being as large as I was is a portion of my hesitance to not track. I have a huge appetite, and I eat fast. I'm often hungry still immediately after I finish a plate of food and have to drink a bunch of water and wait a while before I decide if I'm actually full or not. It's way too easy to just keep plowing food.

Keto starts the day after Mardi Gras.

In the words of the great Billy Gueldner,

quote:

You gone learn tuh day!

40 days and 40 nights going carb free was the original cut diet, invented by Jesus H Christ. He knew Spring Break was gonna be a massive party that year, and at 31 years old he’d still never gotten laid. This was the first crash diet he did in an attempt to get some abs and prove to his dad he wasn’t gay.

Glad to see you back in here I may join you. I've had a year of maintaining, but I still have more to lose.

Niiice! Old people can be some of the toughest opponents. They don’t have to bump up their rating no matter how well they do or how long they’ve been playing, and they’ve usually got nothing but time to play tennis.

And even if they don’t fit those categories, a win is a win wouldn’t even feel bad beating their asses.

I wish. Just had tennis practice in “47 feels like 42” degree weather. Sucked.

Diet starts Wednesday. Motivated to lose more weight.

Had a nice dinner at La Contea Saturday, and had a couple of bourbons. Has been a few weeks since a bit of a "cheat" so it was nice. Made Saturday a high day and made up the macros. Tomorrow is weigh-in but I already have my week averaged out. 1.1lb lost.

Weighed in, macros stayed the same. Next week I have a close friend's wedding to attend, so that will most certainly be a non-compliant week. Gonna strive for a damn strong week this week.

Talked to a few guys that do CrossFit this weekend. Wish it wasn’t so expensive. Feel like weight would be falling off if I did it.

Goal is to continue to avoid binges and lift weights so pool parties are nice this season.

Weight only falls off as fast as your caloric deficit. I don't look at working out as a weight loss aid, I look at it as training my body to be better and more efficient. That's what's been really fun and a driving motivation for Crossfit.. I'm making progress quickly and feel like I'm taking my body back one workout at a time. Sure, I have some increase in caloric expenditure during the WOD but I just factor that into my activity level.

It probably does help with my glucose partitioning, but I'm only eating 95g carb/day right now anyway. I'm sure most, if not all, of my carb intake goes straight to glycogen on workout days.

I just remember doing some WODs at my buddy’s house and it being awesome. Cardio and lifting all in one.

Struggled with a lot of the olys since I’m stiff as a mother fricker.
