Can you adjust weight on it? If you can do 3x15 you dont have enough weiht. Best results if you are doing 3x10 and on the 7-10 really pushing to finish. Need to challenge the muscles

The tubes no, I just use the heaviest resistance band they have.

When I do the kettles on last set last 3 times it kills me after 7 or 8 reps (always my last set). Usually have done 3x 10 of a curl activity before that set. I just last week started doing curls with resistance tube. They only have a Low, Medium, and Heavy tube (Always used the High)

Tonight or tomorrow we can discuss Floozies again if you like

The day I went from modified planks to actual on my toes planks I legit almost cried. It was the stupidest thing to get emotional about I know, but that was such a milestone for me.
I can do 1min planks early in the workouts, but if they're during the end of the hour I can realistically go 30 sec or so before I start shaking like a chihuahua. however, I still firmly believe that burpees are the devil.

Planks are always the very last thing I do

I am full plank for 35 and last one today was 41 seconds I couldn't breathe for some reason and felt like snot was pouring out of my nose. I felt good I could've held it to 45 but I didn't want to risk snotting myself

Georgia you want to discuss floozies tomorrow with us?

They are significantly harder the longer you wait into the workout for sure. Our trainer always groups certain moves together, like
speed squats 40 sec
Wall sit 40 sec
Repeat 30 sec intervals
Repeat 20 second intervals
10 second break to set for next station
planks 40 sec
Mountain climbers 40 sec
Repeat 30 sec
Repeat 20 sec

It goes on like that nonstop for 60-75 min or so. It definitely builds your endurance, but it breaks it down first.

Such language from you delicate flowers, I don't know if I can handle it.

Who found floozies? (My phone autocorrected that to floppies twice?)

Just got my blood work back from a test I did for a life insurance policy. Not sure what has happened but my lipid profile is shite. I'm 6'0", 180 lbs, around 12% BF.

Total Cholesterol: 215
HDL: 63.6
LDL: 138
Triglycerides: 63

I am on the 16/8 IF plan and I eat low carbs.

Any ideas why my level is so high? What else can I do to fix it?

Sometimes that stuff's just hereditary and there's not much you can do about it. If you're otherwise in great health it's probably not a big deal. 215 is above normal but it's not in a dangerous zone. If you're worried ask your doc about a low dose statin.

You also can look into having another test run that looks at all of the particles instead of just baseline cholesterol numbers.

So what's the best way to prepare a steak if you don't have a cast iron skillet and grill skills aren't the best?

I'm thinking about picking myself up a nice ribeye for dinner tonight. Thinking steak and eggs with an avocado. Any help would be appreciated.

Nonstick skillet works fine in a pinch. It won't get as hot as cast iron, but I've cooked many steaks in a nonstick. Just gotta crank up the heat, turn on the vent, open all your windows

For a good steak, yes.

It's not hard. Get a hot skillet, put oil in it, season steak, put steak in skillet. Wait a few minutes, flip it. Wait a few minutes, let it rest.

Foreman is fine for most anything else.. but please don't put a ribeye or something on the foreman grill...

I can't cook.

Get a hot skillet

I have an electric stove so should I just put it on high and let it sit for a while? or stick it in the oven on a very high heat to get it hot?

quote:

put oil in it

What kind of oil?

quote:

season steak

Salt and pepper

quote:

Wait a few minutes, flip it.

Exactly 3 minutes on each side? No oven involved?

I don't know shite obviously and don't want to ruin some quality red meat.

gotta agree here.... I can't imagine putting a nice steak on a foreman. Spring for a cast iron skillet man... it's worth it.

BTW thinking of doing the same for dinner tonight... maybe some nice sirloin!

An electric stove is fine. Is your pan nonstick? I'd let it get hot, but I'd be wary of letting it sit on high for several minutes to heat up. I'm not sure it'll actually damage your pan, but I wouldn't want anything to happen.

I'm not a steak snob. While it may not be "OMG the best steak ever!", it'll still be good.
