How many calories are on this plate?

I really don't know. I'm great at keeping track when I'm cooking, but not when I eat out. Any tips would be appreciated.

OH HAI!

I'm still alive...and still have a broken foot. It's been 4 weeks of basically living on delivery food now. Good news is that I can finally walk in my boot, so I should be able to actually go to the grocery store and attempt to cook things now. Standing around on one leg is for the birds (see what I did there?) haven't really weighed in because I don't want to actually jump on the scale which is about the only way I can get on it outside the boot. But it's not good right now...I know that.

No way to really know with that sauce and whatnot

I'd give a ROUGH estimate of 6-700
Maybe a little less. I always round up though

I'd guess 100-110 for the okra, 150 for the etouffee, 300 for the blackened fish.. 5 for the broccoli unless it's got butter on it

Thanks y'all. That's about where I was thinking as well. I'm just not good at converting a plate of food to exact portions.

I knew I should have kept that sauce off of there. Stuff is pure butter.

I was playing kickball...(drinking league, basically) and forgot how to walk while walking back to first base. I stepped on the outside of my foot as if it was the bottom of my foot and put all my weight into the step. Heard/felt a bunch of pops in my foot and doc confirmed the next morning that I had fractured the top of my foot. been in a boot/crutches ever since.

Totally. If H stands for Hoover. I don't think I've ever turned down pizza. Hence my need for lifelong participation in this thread.
